Né à Paris 1986, dé famille colombienne et vénézueliienne vit et travaille à Paris, Santiago Torres est un artsite-programmeur multidisciplinaire. Ses analyse approfondie de la Programmation et interaction depuis 2007, influencé par les jeux vidéo et l’univers quantique et sa relation personnelle avec les pionniers de l’art cinétique et cybernétique (Julio Le Parc et de l’ Atelier Schöer), Torres crée des espaces immersifs interactifs. Le travail de Santiago Torres s’inscrit dans une perpétuelle évolution cybernétique, maintenant multidimensionnelle. Il développe des tableaux non seulement tactiles et en trois dimensions, mais où il réussit à intégrer au sein de ses œuvres la 4eme dimension, celle du mouvement-interactive. Par le biais de capteurs “tactile”, le visiteur interagit avec l’œuvre au moyen de gestes, modifiant les formes et couleurs, les transformant au fil de ses mouvements corporels, afin de développer sa propre création.

Santiago Torres’ work is part of a perpetual cybernetic evolution, now multidimensional. He develops paintings that are not only tactile and three-dimensional, but where he manages to integrate the 4th dimension, that of movement-interactive, into his works. By means of «tactile» sensors, the visitor interacts with the work by means of gestures, modifying the forms and colors, transforming them in the course of his body movements, in order to develop his own creation.
